Responsibilities:
- Developing and integrating project plans for designs of new products.
- Participating in establishing, monitoring, and integrating embedded firmware, computer applications and apps for Measurement and Control Equipment for Water Quality Applications, using ARM and Microchip architecture processors and Embedded Linux environment.
- Reviews and analyzes target digital hardware circuitry and the requirements to develop firmware that meets design input and change data provided by core team and facilitates coordination of changes and identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identifies and provides reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Involved in cost justifications, recommend priorities, generate schedules, and develop solutions to customer issues.
- Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
- Evaluating, refining, validating, and resolving schedule tests and managing designs using in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and other debugging tools.
- Assisting and/or leading in planning efforts across various programs and projects to determine constraints, risks, opportunities, and integration strategies and Logs defects and tracks their status in the tracking database.
EDUCATION: | Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related. |
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: | 2 years of experience in ARM, Microchip processor, DMA, A/D, D/A, PWM, algorithms for signal processing, and communication protocols for I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, BT/BLE. |
EXPERIENCE: | 2 years of experience as a Firmware Engineer or related. |
